IT leadership by day. Increasingly focused on what AI means for the messy middle. Not the frontier model hype. The existing capabilities are already mind-boggling; the gap is implementation. Scattered documents, integration friction, the workflows nobody wants to touch. That’s where the leverage is. Building things on the side. Some of it might become something; most won’t. That’s the game.

Remote work was a deliberate choice. I do the school runs, guide the kids through their own interests, stay close to the ordinary moments. Building something for them while being there for who they’re becoming.

BJJ most days. What happens on the mats doesn’t stay there - it’s changed how I parent, work, handle hard conversations. The body and mind aren’t as separate as I once thought.

The hunger for information never stops - books, podcasts, rabbit holes. But the shift now is toward creating, not just consuming. Writing more, sharing publicly, building a body of work. Input without output is just entertainment.

Coordinating Redlands Garden Share, a local community for swapping homegrown produce, seeds, and plants. Getting deeper into syntropic agroforestry - farming that builds soil rather than depleting it. The slowest game.

Based in Mount Cotton, Queensland - though increasingly curious what a less anchored life might look like.
